At the start of May every year, London Heritage Farm joins the Doors Open Richmond - a 2 days citywide celebration that offers free access to 40 venues in the City of Richmond allowing visitors to explore Richmond's arts, heritage and cultural diversity. Check out the Special Events Schedule on the Events page for exact date of event.
During Doors Open, tours from costumed guides are offered. Visitors can browse through the exhibits in the farm house, visit the heritage gardens, hand tool museum and large farm machinery displays. Live demonstrations by the Richmond Carvers Society are main art attractions of the event. Children are happy to participate in the scavenger hunt with each child receiving a small prize.
Many would also enjoy tea in the Tea Room and shop for the London Lady Tea, London Farm Jam and Jelly in the Gift Shop.
