South Lawn & Gazebo

The south lawn of the house is bordered by trees, the heritage gardens, the house and the driveway.  This lovely area is a favorite spot for picnickers with its broad expanse of sun-drenched lawn and the cooling shade of the perimeter trees. 

A large gazebo and the picnic tables and garden benches make this an ideal area for picnics, weddings, and events.  The south lawn and gazebo are available for rentals.

Hours of Operation

Entrance to the farmhouse is by donation.  The farmhouse, Tea Room and Gift Shop are open to the public at the following hours:

January:
Closed
February to June:
Open Saturday and Sunday,
12 noon to 5pm
July to August:
Open Wednesday through Sunday,
12 noon to 5pm
September to December:
Open Saturday and Sunday,
12 noon to 5pm

The garden paths and ground floor of the farmhouse are wheelchair and walker accessible.
